Abstract: “Pelaksanaan Pengawasan Kepala Dinas Pendapatan terhadap Pencapaian target Pajak Daerah Pada Kantor Dinas pendapatan Provinsi Riau Tahun 2008-2011” Controlling is one of many managerial function, which is important to guarantee target realization, specially government control to governing procces. This is indicating as a wider control effect, that beside arranged plan structure to reduce mistake, further controlling function is also to control tools that used, human resources, activity from the subject, and another important aspect in order to fulfills the organization target. Controlling in regional tax target realization is important to be done. Regional Income Bureau (Dinas Pendapatan Daerah) is the organization that monitoring and executing the target realization progress. So the writer feels need to research the controlling progress in the organization/ This research conclude that controlling by Head of Regional Income Bureau (Kepala Dinas Pendapatan Daerah) to regional tax target realization is executed well, proven by tax income that exceed the target..
