This study aims to find and obtained the best concentration of clove powder (Syzigium aromaticum (L.) Merr. And Perry) to controlling Calosobruchus maculatus F. in the mung bean storage. The research conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments clove powder concentration and four replications. The data has been statistically analyzed using variance analysis and further using Least Significant Difference test (LSD) at the 5% level. The results showed that concentration of clove powder 3 g / 50 g mung bean is effective to control C. maculatus with the initial death time is 4 hours, the total mortality 92.50%, and the weight losses of mung bean only 0.01 %. The use higher concentration of clove powder could reducing the number of eggs and larvae that produced by C. maculatus. On the Concentration of 3 g /50 g mung bean, the number of eggs and larvae produced is 193.75 grains and 12.5 larvae. whereas on the concentration of 0.75 g/50 g mung bean, the number of eggs and larvae produced is 806.25 grains and 81.25 larvae
