    JENIS-JENIS PARASIT PADA IKAN BAUNG (Mystus nemurus C.V.) DARI PERAIRAN SUNGAI SIAK KECAMATAN RUMBAI PESISIR PEKANBARU

    The aim of this research is to identify and to know the prevalency of parasites which are found in Mystus nemurus C.V. from Siak river Rumbai Pesisir Pekanbaru. This research was conducted from November 2012 to March 2013. This research used direct smear and concentration methods. Formalin 4% and eosin 2% were used to preserve and colouring the parasites. The result showed that Mystus nemurus C.V. hosted some parasitic-worms such as Procamallanus sp., Capillaria sp., Heterophyes heterophyes and Pallisentris sp. The prevalency of Procamallanus sp., Capillaria sp., Heterophyes heterophyes and Pallisentris sp. are 46.6%, 3.3%, 6.6% and 13.3%.
