    HUBUNGAN DURASI PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF TERHADAP TINGKAT IMUNITAS BAYI DI KELURAHAN TANGERANG TENGAH KECAMATAN MARPOYAN DAMAI PEKANBARU

    The goal of this research was to know the relationship between the duration of exclusive breastfeeding and the level of immunity among 0-6 months infants In Marpoyan Damai District of Pekanbaru. The design of this research was cross-sectional with 135 respondents, sampling technique in this reseach is the Cluster sampling. Measuring instruments used are questioner. This research uses univariate and bivariate analyze and use Pearson correlation test. There was a significant and strong relationship between the duration of exclusive breastfeeding to the level immunity among 0-6 months infants In Marpoyan Damai District ( P value < 0.05 and r = -0.609) with get which indicates that the duration of exclusive breastfeeding relationship with baby's immunity level is strong and negative patterned. The results of this research it’s recommended that to related side (community health centers) for more intensive to give information about exclusive breastfeeding so that can motivate mothers to breastfeed exclusively until baby is 6 months old.
