    HUBUNGAN ANTARA TINGKAT STRES DENGAN STRATEGI KOPING PADA MAHASISWA KEPANITERAAN KLINIK FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS RIAU

    Stress is a psychological or psychological strain caused by adverse stimuli of physical, mental, or emotional, internal or external that tends to interfere with the function of organism and the organism naturally desires to avoid. To reduce and cope with stress are necessary means of solving the right problem called coping strategies. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between levels of stress and coping strategies among clinical students of Riau University. This study used cross sectional design carried out 140 students who were undergoing their clinical education profession in RSUD Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru. Data was collected using a quesionnaire Dietetics Clinical Students Stress Quesionnaire (DSQ), which has been translated into Indonesian is used to measure the level of stress on clinical students, and The Ways of Coping quesionnaire has been translated into Indonesian is used to view coping strategies. The result of this study showed a significant relationship between level of stress and coping strategies (p=0,00;r=-0,280). The correlations met our expectations in terms of direction, but were weaker or less strong. In conclusion there was a significant relationship between level of stress and coping strategies in clinical students of Riau University.
