    Analisis Daya Saing Ekspor Komoditi Unggulan Perkebunan Provinsi Riau

    Riau Province represent one of the province which partake to give contribution in international trade activity either from regional scale and also global. Not merely migas sector becoming exporting pledge, but also non migas sector especially plantation. Palm oil. Rubber and coconut specified by Riau's government as pre-eminent commodity of plantation. This research of this study was to know the competitiveness growth of the export for each pre-eminent commodity which from the competitiveness will do stuff to improve contribution to area's earning. This research was executed in Pekanbaru from November 2008 up to May 2009, using value and volume export riau provinsi during 3 period tiiat was from 2004-2007. Data was analysed to use Revealed Comperative Advantage ( RCA) with two especial indicator that is Export Performance Ratio ( EPR) And Net Export/Total Trade Ratio (NE/TT). Research result of RCA show the competitiveness index of palm oil which more than one (> 1) while rubber and coconut smaller than one (< 1). NE/TT of each pre-eminent commodity show the high level of competitiveness m Riau Province.
