    Objectivity in reporting is a central value of the underlying discipline of journalists and media professionals. Contains the principles of factuality and objectivity of truth that must be respected and considered important. The phenomenon that occurred in Tribun Pekanbaru Newspapers still have that news writing is not eligible objective. Objectivity in the news into something absolute. It's because the news is placed on the function or report the facts and reflect the social reality. This study aims to determine how far the objectivity of writing political news and government on the main page of the Tribun Pekanbaru Newspaper.
