    PEMERIKSAAN BAKTERI AEROB PATOGEN SALURAN PENCERNAAN PADA USAP DUBUR PENJAMAH MAKANAN DI INSTALASI GIZI RS X

    Food handlers are one of the factors that lead to food contamination due to direct contact of the preparation, cleaning, processing, transporting and serving food. Food handlers carriers (the carrier of pathogenic bacteria) could potentially transmit to public community and patients in the hospital. The carrier is a source of contamination which is more important than case with clinical symptoms that carrier detection is important as a preventive measure and control the transmission of disease especially food handlers. This research method was descriptive laboratory to identify aerobic bacteria of enteric pathogens among rectal swab food handlers at Nutrition Installation of X Hospital. Data was collected by identifying of bacteria Salmonella sp, Shigella sp and Vibrio Cholerae on feces specimens was taken through rectal swab food handlers class II and III. The results of rectal swab examination obtained 7 people were positive (33.3%) containing aerobic bacteria of enteric pathogens. Out of 7 people, 5 people were positive Salmonella sp (23.8%) and 2 people were positive Shigella sp (9.5%). This research showed that the health status and qualified personnel of food handlers were not in accordance with Permenkes RI No.1096/MENKES/PER/VI/2011.
