    Information represents an important requirement in all area. In area of planning of agriculture development, information about region of land suitability to agriculture commodities very needed. This matter aim to wisdom of usage and farm exploiting become the zero in on. This research aim to design an geographical information system in regional determination land suitability of crop coconut and coflfe tree plantation representing pre-eminent commodity of Riau Province. The using of geographical information system, because this system have the excess compared to with the conventional method. This system give the information of element special in the form of room data or geographical. This implementation GIS use the software ArcView 3.3, and WebGIS Alov. ArcView 3.3 used to process analyze the special of like overlay to join the used data, and query to determine the region of according to pursuant to characteristic of land suitability for the plantation. While WebGIS Alov used for the scheme of visualizing the web of map interactive, so that can be accessed by pars consumer globally from various region, just where from (worldwide).
