    (2013-06-25) Gusniati
The research was conducted from February to March 2013, at Turtle Conservation Technical Services Unit Pariaman city. The purpose of this research was to investigate the growth and survival rate of ridley turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea) hatchlings with level of feeding different anchovy fish (Stolephorus sp). The ridley turtle hatchlings used in this study was 36 hatchlings with body weight biomass of 16-17 grams and size carapace of 38-39 cm. Feed used in the form anchovy fish (Stolephorus sp) with some feeding level is 5 %, 10 % and 15 % from hatchlings body weight biomass by feeding 3 times a day. The methods used in this study was an experimental method and Completely Randomized Design one factor with 3 level of treatments. Treatments of this study were 5 % of feeding anchovy fish from hatchlings body weight biomass,10 % of feeding anchovy fish from hatchlings body weight biomass and 15 % of feeding anchovy fish from hatchlings body weight biomass. The best result was achieved by 15 % level of feeding anchovy fish from hatchlings body weight biomass. Total absolute body weight of hatchlings was 15,25 grams, carapace growth rate 13 mm, daily growth rate of 1,59 % and survival rate of 100 %.
