    Agricultural extension is a non-formal education for farmers and their families which includes the expert knowledge and skills of extension workers to farmers and their families going through a learning process. The role of agricultural extension got a score of 2.36 to a high category. Variables assessed the role of extension of several sub-variables, namely the role of educators as mentors, as organisaor and dynamic factor, as a technician, as a consultant, as educators, as leaders and as mentors.
