    ANALYSIS CONSTRUCTION LONG LINER 5 GT IN COUNTRYSIDE BAY OF PAMBANG SUB-PROVINCE OF BEGKALIS PROVINSI RIAU

    This research was conducted on July until August 2012, at Teluk Pambang Bay Village. The aims of the reseach was to comparid construction of 5 GT traditoinal fishing vessel towards the rules issued by BKI. The results showed the raw material used at the long liner as keel, stem, stern, hanging rib, stranger beam, shell, deck and sheer strake was punak (Tetramerista glabra Miq), laban (Vitex pubescens Vahl), mangrove meranti (Shorea platiclados), meranti flowers (Shorea.sp), and red nyirih (Xylocarpus granatum). The construction measurment L(B/3+H) = 19.96 m2, Was Includes to multifunctional vessel type (multy purpose vessel). Some of its measurement was not satisfy BKI standart, for example, keel, stem, stringger beam, shell, deck and sheer strake. The part that satify materials and size was horizontal knee and frame but its space relatively longer namely 500-600 mm. It should be reduced until 280 mm.
