Item The Effect Of Turmeric Stew Toward Glucose Blood Level Of Diabetes Mellitus Clients(2015-06-19) Dewi, Ari Pristiana; HerlinaDiabetes Mellitus has become a public health problem which is steadily increasing from year to year in Indonesia. Increased prevalence of diabetes occurs because of the effects of unhealthy lifestyles and diets. Diabetes Mellitus has a poor prognosis if it is not treated immediately. It can lead to worse complications. One way of controlling diabetes that patients maintain their quality of life is done with non-pharmacological therapy, namely turmeric therapy. This study aimed to determine the effect of turmeric stew of therapy on blood sugar level of DM patients. The study design was quasy experiment with non-equivalent control group design. Respondents are divided into 2 groups, 16 for experimental group and 16 for control group (total sample: 32 respondents). The experimental group took turmeric stew once in a day for 7 days consecutively. Univariate analysis is used to describe characteristics of respondents and bivariate is used paired and pooled t-test. The results showed that the majority of respondents were female (75%), elderly (81.4%), high school education (46.8%), ethnic Minang (78.2%), and a housewife (56, 2%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed a difference in mean blood glucose levels between before and after the treatment in the experimental group (p value 0.00). Mean while, there was no difference in mean blood glucose level were between the experimental group and the control group (p value 0.051). It is suggested to health public centers to introduce herbal development program such as turmeric stew for DM clients in the communityItem METODE DRILLSTUDI KASUS DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN KELUARGA(2014-05-19) Agrina; Zulfitri, Reni; HerlinaTujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat peningkatan hasil akhir mahasiswa pada matakuliah keperawatan keluarga dengan menggunakan metode drill dengan studi kasus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi ilmu keperawatan Universitas Riau berjumlah 69 orang yang diambil secara total sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 2 siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 langkah yaitu tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dianalisa dengan analisa univariat secara deskroptif , Hasil penelitian menunjukkal 66 responden (95'7%) Mendapatkan hasil sangat baik dalam melakukin proses asuhan keperawatan keluarga, dan 3 responden (4,3% 0 mendapatkan hasil baik. Nilai akhir untuk mata kuliah keperawatan keluarga menunjukkan 26 Responden (37.7%) mendapatnilai A (sangat baik), 42 responden (60,9%) mendapat nilai B (baik), dan 1 responden (1.4%) mendapat nilai C (cukup). This formula research internal issue is do applying of drill method can uplift skill to write free poem of grade five SDN 006 Limau Manis Kampar District ? Target of this research to increase skill write free poem by applying drill method in grade five SDN 006 Limau Manis Kampar District. This method research use research of class action use drill method in class of five SDN 006 Limau Manis Kampar District with amount of student 21 people. This action conducted at april 2012. Skill write free poem which obtained from data early is 49,52 by 38,09% or 8 complete student people obtain get minimum value 65 according to standard of KKM. After applied by drill method cycle of I UH I, obtained skill mean write free poem of student is 65,28 completely classical 42,85% or 9 student. Cycle of II UH II mount to become 78,14 completely 90,47% or 19 student people. While activity learn cycle of I first meeting with percentage 66,66, second meeting with percentage 79,16. Then cycle of II fourth meeting with percentage 87,5 and fifth meeting with percentage 91,66. And student activity at cycle of I first meeting with percentage 54,16, second meeting with percentage 87,5. This research node is by applying drill method can uplift skill to write free poem grade five SDN 006 Limau Manis Kampar District
