    DETEKSI PROTOZOA USUS PATOGEN PADA PENDERITA DIARE ANAK DI PUSKESMAS RAWAT INAP KOTA PEKANBARU

    Infectious disease which is caused by intestine’s protozoa is a disease which is spread all over the world and still become a health society problem in Indonesia.The purpose this research is to detect intestine’s protozoa such us Entamoeba histolytica on the children patient with diarrhea at Puskesmas Rawat Inap Kota Pekanbaru. Detection of protozoa was carried out the method of staining tricrome. The design of this research is descriptive from the data was collecting by performing microscopic examination and counted manually. From 76 sampels were examined 9 sampels were found Entamoeba histolytica (11,8%). Frequency Entamoeba histolytica based on the age was higest at 1-5 years old (40,9%) and higest in boys (27,27%).
