    EFEKTIFITAS REBUSAN DAUN PEPAYA TERHADAP PENURUNAN NYERI SAAT MENSTRUASI PADA MAHASISWI PSIK UR

    The purpose of the research is to find out effectiveness of papaya leaf decoction to menstrual pain decrease on students PSIK UR. Methodology on this research was a quasy experiment designed by "Non-equivalent control group" were divided into experiment group and control group. The sample in this research are student of nursing program university of riau who experience dysmenorrhea. The number of sample is 30 respondents who were taken by purposive sampling technique with the inclusion criteria. Measuring instruments was used in both groups are Numeric rating scale for pain intensity. The analysis used were univariate and bivariate analysis using Dependent sampel T Test and Independent sample T Test. The result showed that there is difference of treatment to experiment group with control grouop the didn`t give of treatment with p-value 0,000 < (0,05). It means that papaya leaf decoction effective to decrease in pain of dysmenorrhea. The results of this research is expected to be an alternative to reduce the pain of dysmenorrhea.
