    Study On Fishing Technology Of The Stow Net At Halang Island, Rokan Hilir Regency, Indonesia

    The research was conducted at Halang island in October 2011. Purpose of the reaserch is to know technology factor of the stow net such as, fishing gear, fishing operation management and logy friendly criteria of stow net's fishing effort. Stow net is a pillar-shape fishing gear, which has It has total length 120 em, which front-side of the code end as 30 em width and 30 em width While, the cod end part has total length 120 em, which front-side of the cod end as 30 em width 30 em height. Back side of the cod end was smaller as 20 em width and 20 em height. Stow net ist a sheet of the monofilament net, with mesh size 1 em. It was set by two poles as 10 meters height eft and right side of mounth part. The stow net was hauled two times in a day, which hauled in day and night low tidal time.
