    Evaluasi Daya Dukung Tiang Pancang Berdasarkan Metode Dinamik

    Pengujian tiang dinamik merupakan salah satu metode pengujian untuk mengevaluasi daya dukung tiang. Pengujian tiang metode dinamik (Pile Driving Analyzer/PDA) dilaksanakan dengan memasang sensor sepanjang tiang untuk merekam parameter kecepatan dan gaya saat tiang dipukul menggunakan palu dengan besaran energi tertentu. Pada penelitian ini, data uji PDA untuk tiang pancang beton pracetak pada proyek pembangunan gedung Rumah Sakit Universitas Riau digunakan untuk dianalisis daya dukungnya. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis daya dukung tiang adalah perhitungan manual Metode CASE, hasil keluaran uji PDA, dan hasil keluaran software CAPWAP. Nilai daya dukung yang dihasilkan ketiga metode tersebut kemudian dibandingkan dan dievaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, nilai daya dukung yang diperoleh dari perhitungan manual Metode CASE adalah 98,8 ton, hasil keluaran uji PDA sebesar 98 ton, dan hasil keluaran software CAPWAP sebesar 98,3 ton. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ketiga metode tersebut menghasilkan daya dukung tiang yang relatif sama dengan selisih kurang dari 1%. Oleh karena itu, ketiga metode tersebut dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis daya dukung tiang dengan tingkat keandalan yang baik

    Respons Struktur Bangunan Berdasarkan Spektra Gempa Indonesia Untuk Ibukota Provinsi Di Pulau Sumatera

    Sumatera Island is a very active seismic area in Indonesia, which is crossed by the infamous Pacific Ring of Fire. The western side of Sumatera Island suffers more from the ground shaking due to its closer distance to the epicenter. Combined with huge coverage of soft soil, building structures built on this island may experience excessive deformation and eventually collapse in a brittle way. For high-rise reinforced concrete (RC) building, the impact is even more devastating and may endanger its occupants. Due to these facts, this study aims to analyze the deformation characteristic (story-drift) of high-rise RC building under earthquake loading in Sumatera Island. Modal response spectrum analysis is performed to compute the maximum story-drift of three RC building models (10 story, 15 story, and 20 story) used in this study. The seismic acceleration response spectrum function is derived from the lastest Indonesia’s Seismic Hazard Map (2010) and SNI 1726-2012. Eight capital cities in Sumatera Island and three soil conditions (soft, medium, and hard soil) are selected to generate 24 seismic acceleration response spectrum functions. Combined with three RC building model variations, 72 story-drift data are obtained for each X and Y horizontal direction. Based on the analysis result, taller buildings in soft soil condition are at greater risk to experience excessive deformation due to seismic loading. Seismic locations in the western side of Sumatera Island is also observed to exhibit higher seismic hazard compared to central and eastern side of Sumatera Island.
