    Analisis Nilai-Nilai Karakter Bangsa Yang Terdapat Pada Tari Zapin Di Desa Meskom Kecamatan Bengkalis Kabupaten Bengkalis

    This research is motivated by many among youth and the community who do not understand the meaning of the dance Zapin they just simply come to dance. Sense of their love for their own culture has begun to wear off This is because people are more much concerned about outsider culture rather than culture of the nation itself. Formulation of the problem in this research is "Do people know that there are the values in the national character Zapin Dance In Village Meskom Bengkalis District Bengkalis?". This research aimed knowing whether community know that there are the values in the national character Zapin Dance In Village Meskom Bengkalis districts Bengkalis. " Zapin dance is one of the arts that are in Bengkalis particularly in the village of Meskom. In Zapin Dance There are national character values ranging from religious values, hard work, care for the environment and more values contained in each zapin dance moves. The population in this study were all community in the village Meskom namely 1060 KK. While the sampling technique using a random sampling technique by Suharsimi Arikunto namely samples taken at random or random for a large sample in this research was 10% of the population namely amounted to 100 people. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, interviews, and technical literature. In analyzing the data using Quantitative Descriptive analysis. Results of this research indicate that the public is less know these nation character values contained in Zapin Dance in the Village Meskom Bengkalis District Bengkalis Because Less Know (64%) are in the benchmark of 33.34% - 66.66 % when viewed of the opinion Sutrisno Hadi. The hypothesis that reads "Community not knowing the national character values contained in Zapin dance in the village Meskom Bengkalis District Bengkalis accepted. It can be concluded that the public's knowledge about the values of the national character contained in Zapin Dance are less know.

    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kontekstual Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Membuat Topeng Pada Siswa Kelas V SDN 97 Pekanbaru

    PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBUAT TOPENG PADA SISWA KELAS V SDN 97 PEKANBARU Oleh Kartika1, Zariul Antosa2, Otang Kurniaman3 Abstract Problems studied in this research is low skill of students in the arts and culture learning and skill in making the mask. The purpose of this study was to increase student’s skill to make a mask of the arts and culture learning and skill by using a model of contextual learning in class V at SDN 97 Pekanbaru of 30 students. This study uses classroom and performed in 2 cycluses. Based in the skills assessment seen from the initial data, the average is 60,9 students in the classical. After the implementation of contextual learning’s model, then in the first cyclus the average value of students increased to 66,5 and the second cyclus the average value of students increased to 77. Based on analysis of the above data it can be concluded that the application of contextual learning’s model can make a mask increasing skill in class V SDN 97 Pekanbaru.
