    Aplikasi Kompos Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit di Pembibitan Utama

    This study aimed to examine the effect of empty fruit bunches of oil palm compost on the growth of oil palm seedlings and get a dose that provides good growth in oil palm seedlings. Research conducted experiments using a completely randomized design (CRD) Non Factorial consisting of 6 treatments and 3 replicates, so it can be 18 units in the trial. As each treatment is K0 = Without compost (0 tons / ha), K1 = TKKS Compost 5 tons / ha, (25 g / polybag), K2 = TKKS compost 10 tons / ha (50 g / polybag ), K3 = TKKS compost 15 tons / ha (75 g / polybag), K4 = TKKS compost 20 tonnes / ha (100 g / polybag), and K5 = TKKS compost 30 tons / ha (150 g / polybag). Units of the experiment consists of four oil palm seedlings, so it takes 72 seeds. Parameters were observed among other plants gain height, increase the number of leaves, increase tuber diameter, root volume, relative growth rate, the ratio of crown roots, seedling dry weight. Based on the research that has been done can be concluded that the provision of compost TKKS with various doses of the oil palm seedlings provide a noticeable effect on the parameters of leaves, but not significantly different in the high parameter seed, tuber diameter, root volume, relative growth rate, dry weight, and the ratio of the root crown.

    Aplikasi Pupuk Npk Tablet dan Pupuk Organik Pada Pembibitan Kelapa Sawit Main Nursery di Medium Subsoil Tanah Ultisol

    To produce a good oil palm seedlings in nutrient-poor medium then carried inorganic fertilizer (NPK Tablet) and Organic fertilizer (Biotrikom) to meet the nutrient needs of plants. This research aims to produce oil palm seedlings are of good quality. The experiment was conducted for 3 months, starting in July 2012 to October 2012. The experiment was conducted in Unit, Faculty of Agriculture Experimental Station Riau. The design used was a factorial arranged in RAL comprising two factors: The first factor is the provision of fertilizer Biotrikom comprising 4 levels, ie T0 = Without fertilizer Biotrikom / polybag, fertilizer Biotrikom T1 = 50 g / polybag, T2 = fertilizer Biotrikom 100 g / polybag, fertilizer Biotrikom T3 = 150 g / polybag, Factor II is Sigi NPK fertilizer tablet comprised of P0 = Without NPK fertilizer Tablet Sigi / polybag, P1 = Giving NPK Sigi Tablet 1 Tablet / polybag, P2 = Giving NPK Sigi Tablet 2 Tablet / polybag, and P3 = Giving NPK Sigi 3 Tablet Tablet / polybag. Then further tested with DNMRT at 5% level. Parameters measured were seedling height increment (cm), in the number of leaf (blade), increase seed tuber diameter (cm), canopy dry weight (g), root dry weight (g), ratio of crown roots and seed quality index. Based on this research, Tablet turns giving Sigi NPK showed no apparent effect on all parameters, whereas fertilizer Biotrikom significant effect on seedling height parameters, stump diameter, canopy dry weight and root dry weight. Further test results show the interaction of NPK Sigi Tablet 2 Tablet / polybag with fertilizer Biotrikom 150 g / polybag provide the best growth parameters of leaf number, diameter ratio and crown root weevil.

    This research aim to know giving influence of compost LCC Mucunabracteata( MB) and NPK tablet at growh of seed palm and best treatment at growth of seed palm in main mxsery bed. This treatment in executing experimentally with by using Completely randomized design ( RAL) which consist of 5 treatment and 3 restating, so that entirely 15 attempt units. Every attempt unit consisted of 3 polybag crop and 2 between it as sample, P0: Without fertilizer, P1: compost LCC MB 25 gl10 soil;land;ground kg + NPI( I tablet, P2: compost LCC MB 50 g/10 soil;land;ground kg +NPK 2 tablet, P3: compost LCC MB 75 g/10 soil;land;ground kg + NPK 3 tablet, P4:compost LCC MB 100 g/10 soil;land;ground kg + NPK 4 tablet. Analysis of variance result showing existence of reality difference, continued with tested to be continuation with deep experiment Duncans New Multiple Range Test ( DNMRT) at level 5 %. Based on research result which has been done indicates that giving of compost LCC + NPK TABLET at nursery bed of palm in main nursery bed had an effect on to high increase, increase of number of leaves, cusp diameter, root volume, dry weight and seed root coronet ratio. From this research giving best influence at dose 100 g/10 soil;land;ground kg + 4 tablet.

    DAMPAK REKLAMASI LAHAN PASANG SURUT TYPE B TERHADAP KUALITAS LAHAN DAN POTENSI PRODUKSI TANAMAN SAWIT (Elaeis Guineensis. Jacq) Dl SCHEME KUALA CENAKU KABUPATEN INDRAGIRI HULU

    Type B tidal land in the District of Indragiri HuIu Regency Kuala Cenaku Reclaimed for cultivation of food crops in 1997 and 20% of the land is converted to oil palm plantations. Reclamation for the settings cause changes in pH of soil drainage and pyrite is oxidized, thus affecting nutrient availability to plants. It should be examined on land quality, crop nutrient uptake, oil production potential, the implementation of oil palm cultivation technology and its relation to social economic and farming system analysis in order to determine the impact of reclamation and the ability of communities in landmanagement. The research was conducted through a survey approach, purposively sampling random sampling and by selecting a planting site that has been producing oil with a maximum of I0 years of age. The results showed that soil texture component is dust> 70%, clay 21-28%, and sand <3%. Leaching and loss of land caused a layer of peat and organic matter in the soil surface decreased. Soil water content and bulk density is still on the threshold of adequate. Based on the content of base cations, it include in Zone II land and the influence of sea water with fresh water are balance. The level of soil fertility is low to moderate deficiency of macro element and non-visible symptoms of excess and deficiency of micro elements. Production of 23% -44% of potential oil production BPKS. Implementation of the cultivation technology of 90% in the-medium category, which examined social factors are not dominant in influencing the implementation. It is expected that the role of farmers to maintain channels and building floodgates, technical application specific culture through the study of fertilizer application efficiency,physical improvements and maintain the sustainability of soil fertility and crop farm with-multtple cropping pattern.

    Efektifitas Sistem Penyerbukan Tanaman Kelapa Sawit(Elaeis guineensisJacq) Pada Berbagai Pola Kemiringan Lahan

    Slope and the direction ofthe slope have great impact on linght interception mainly in the morning and the afternoon. The light interception by the plant grown in the sloping area may effect growth and yield of certain crops.The objective of this research is to asses the impact of pollination, slope and slope direction on oilpalmproductionandto determine the effectivity ofnatural pollination onfruit setand development. Thefield experimentalwere arranged in asplit plot design,where fivepatternsof slope such as0-4%, 12-24%east-west, 2 12-24%west-east, 24-38%east-west,and 24-38%west-east were assignedas the main plot and two types of pollination such as assisted pollination and natural pollination as sub plot. Planting material from varietas Marihat with year of planting 1996, there were 3 replication every combination in 3 slope direction (0-4%, 12-24% TB, 12-24%BT, 24-38%TB and 24-38% BT) with 2 method of pollination that`sway there are 30 palms as sample.Polen used for assisted pollination were obtainedfron the plant grown according the slope. Data collected were thenumberofnormal fruit per bunch, numberofpartenocarphyfruit, fruit weight, kernelweight, fresh bunch weight and the ratio of fruit to bunch.For natural pollination, the numberoffruitset and partenocarpic fruits were higher in the flat land (slope of 0-4%)while for controlled assisted pollination, the highest number of fruit set and partenocarpic fruits were found in the slope of 24-345. Fruit and kernelweightincreased on theslope of 12-24% compared to those in the flate land. Natural pollination were more effective in the area with the slope less than 24%, while controlled assisted pollination resulted higher fruit and kernel weight than that produced through natural pollination. Lower fruit weight in the slope of 24-38% west east produced by plants through natural pollination was due to greater number of normal fruitsresulted the lesser assimilate partition to the individual fruit.

    Issues of land and foresf fires that occur each year in areas including Riau in District Pelalawan Regency style that does not cause the loss of a few, both in terms of economy,' ecology, health, and even politics. Man suspected of the act is the biggest event of fire and forest land either intentional or not intentional (negligence). To answer these allegations need to be research on the factors that most dominant in the occurrence of damage due to forest fires, so that in the handling is more targeted. This study aims to find out the factors that caused forest fires and land. The indicators that are the causes of forest t fires and land can be grouped in a number of factors, namely the environment, human activities and socio -economic condition of society. Eased on the regression test decompose into 3 main factors to 15 indicators all have to contribute to forest fires and land with a contribution of 89% and the remaining 11% is determined by other factors. Behavior of people in managing land and the lack of information to the community about the impact of forest fires and land to be the greatest indicator of the occurrence of forest fires and land

    Salah satu alternatif lahan untuk budidaya kelapa sawit adalah lahan pasang surut, tetapi lahan pasang surut banyak kendala agronomis untuk usaha budidaya tanaman, diantaranya pola tata air dan keterbatasan kondisi fisik dan kimianya, yakni keracunan sulfat, besi, aluminium, kesuburan rendah dan toksisitas salinitas. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut perlu dilakukan suatu teknologi pengolahan yang tepat dan efisien, salah satunya adalah dengan pemberian pupuk yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi pemupukan kelapa sawit (Elaeis quineensis Jacq) yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat pada lahan pasang surut di Kecamatan Bangko Pusako, Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan pasang surut Desa Bangko Kanan dan Bangko Kiri Kecamatan Bangko Pusako Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Survey dan teknik penentuan populasi sebagai objek penelitian menggunakan metode Purposive Random Sampling. Jumlah sampel minimal 5% dari total populasi yang ditentukan secara proposional, data implementasi pemupukan dan teknik budidaya dianalisis secara deskriptif dan ditabulasikan dalam bentuk tabel. Dilihat dari konsep pemupukan bahwa petani belum melakukan pemupukan dengan waktu pemberian yang tepat 87,5%, dosis sesuai anjuran 100%, jenis pupuk yang dibutuhkan tanaman 5%, cara pemupukan 100%, dan kualitas pupuk 5%, sehingga mengakibatkan pertumbuhan tanaman kelapa sawit petani sampel pertumbuhannya tidak optimal seperti daun agak menguning, daun muda atau pucuk patah, daun tua mengering, daun keriting atau mengkerut, batang kecil, bonggol kecil, dan tanaman kerdil dan yang dibudidayakan oleh Dinas Perkebunan pertumbuhannya optimal seperti daun hijau, daun berkembang sempurna, batang lebih besar, bonggol besar dan tanaman tidak kerdil.

    Palm-oil midribs utilization is not maximized, but with technology it has economic value that is to turn it into liquid smoke. Benefits of liquid smoke is as inhibitor, accelerate plant growth, and microbial and anti - fungal and is used for the improvement of the qualtty of soil and plants . Previous studies showed that the liquid smoke produced from palm-oil midibs - containing N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S and C - Organic. This study aims to determine the appropriate formulation for applying liquid smoke product as an organic liquid feftilizer plant oil palm . The results showed that with 30 ml of liquid smoke on oil palm seedlings significant effect on growth (height and diameter increment) than plants that were not given fertilizer, after the tenth week

    PEMANFAATAN PELEPAH KELAPA SAWIT SEBAGAI BAHAN BAKU PRODUK ASAP CAIR (Liquid Smoke)

    Palm midrib is one of the waste generated from oil palm plantations. The waste is currently not fully utilized, supported the development of technology, the waste can be used as one of range of liquid smoke product. Liquid smoke has many benefits such as inhibitors, accelerate plant growth, anti-fungal and microbial even for soil quality and crop improvement. This study aims to(1) for liquid smoke Produce from the stem, (2) to determine the chemical constituent of liquid smoke. The results showed the yirld of liquid smoke palm midribs of 40.12%. The compound found in liquid smoke covers Asetic Acid, Ca-Mineral, C-Organic, N-Urea, P-phosphate and residues such as tar. The average pH in The liquid smoke result from the pyrolysis of palm midrib 3,248.

    Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Organik dan Media Tanam Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis quinensis jacg) Pada Main Nursery

    Palm nurseries in large scale requires a lot of planting medium, so it is necessary to use some alternative media sources, so as not to focus only on the use of top soil, peat and soil that dominates the PMK is riau area with few weaknesses, so that the need to test the use of the singular or combined enriched with the addition of various organic materials. The research was conducted at the experimental farm of the Faculty of Agriculture University of Riau in June 2012 - September 2012 with the aim of knowing the effect of organic fertilizer, planting medium, and their interactions, as well as determine the best treatment, the growth of oil palm seedlings. Research Methods factorial experiment in completely randomized design (CRD), 2 factors, four levels of organic fertilizer (chicken cage, Sludge, Organic Liquid Fertilizer, Organic Fertilizer Without) and three levels of planting medium (Peat, PMK, Peat Combined with PMK) with 3 replications. Parameters measured were high accretion seeds, increase the number of leaves, tubers accretion diameter, root volume, wet weight berangkasan plants. Data were statistically analyzed, and followed by test Ducan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at the level of 5%. The results showed that the organic fertilizer can increase seedling height, number of leaves, tubers diameter, root volume and wet weight, giving the peat media tends to increase the diameter of the stump. The best combination seen in the treatment of organic liquid fertilizer (PCO) torch 20 ml with peat soil from the number of leaves, tubers diameter, root volume and wet weight. Recommended using planting medium Peat and organic liquid fertilizer (PCO) torch 20 ml, to get a quality oil palm seeds.

    Biotrikom Technology is a technology that combines local ingredients such as the organic waste of oil palm using indogenous microorganisms of local Riau namely Trichoderma spp. which acts as an activator with the addition of a carrier (inert carrier) such as bentonite, kaolin and ash bunch. the Long term aims of this research is to increase business productivity and livelihoods of the farmer of oil palm plantations in Rokan Hilir through the application of Biotrikom technology. The short term aims is the adoption of innovation and biotrikom technology by palm oil farmers so as to using the waste into products of high economic value, aplication Biotrikom as biofertilizer and biopesticide on oil palm cultivation so as to improve business efficiency and productivity of oil palm plantation. The result showed that the level of innovation adoption palm growers toward compost Biotrikom are in the low categories if seen of the variable knowledge, persuasion, decision to adopt or not adopt, implementation and confirmation. Biotrikom application in the main nursery may slow the appearance of symptoms of leaf spot attack, and biostimulan the growth of oil palm seedlings

    PENINGKATAN PRODUKTIVITAS USAHA PERKEBUNAN KELAPA SAWIT RAKYAT MELALUI TEKNOLOGI BIOTRIKOM BERBASIS LIMBAH PADAT KELAPA SAWIT DI KABUPATEN ROKAN HILIR PROVINSI RIAU

    Teknologi BioTtrikom merupakan teknologi memadukan bahan baku lokal yaitu limbah padat kelapa sawit dengan menggunakan mikroorganisme indogenous lokal Riau yaitu Trichoderma spp yang berperan sebagai aktivator dan penambahan bahan pembawa (innert carrier) bentonit, kaolin dan abu janjang. Tujuan jangka panjang penelitian ini adalah peningkatan produktivitas usaha dan kesejahteraan petani perkebunan kelapa sawit rakyat di Kabupaten Rokan Hilir melalui penerapan teknologi Bio-Trikom. Tujuan jangka pendek penelitian adalah adopsi teknologi inovasi Bio-Trikom oleh petani kelapa sawit sehingga dapat mengurangi limbah padat kelapa sawit menjadi produk pupuk organik dan biofungisida yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas bibit kelapa sawit dan produksi TBS kelapa sawit, mencegah serangan penyebab penyakit terutama patogen tular tanah, ramah lingkungan dan bernilai ekonomis tinggi. Pemanfaatan Biotrikom sebagai pupuk organik dan biofungisida pada budidaya kelapa sawit dapat meningkatkan efisiensi usaha dan produktivitas perkebunan kelapa sawit rakyat. Tahap kegiatan yang dilakukan pada tahun pertama dimulai dari tahun I :(1) sosialisasi aplikasi teknologi biotrikom ditingkat petani kelapa sawit rakyat, (2) evaluasi respon dan tanggapan terhadap teknologi Bio-Trikom. Tahun II yaitu: 1)Survey teknologi pembibitan dan budidaya ditingkat petani kelapa sawit rakyat, 2) Survey potensi dan peran kelembagaan petani petani kelapa sawit rakyat, 3) Penerapan Teknologi Biotrikom Melalui Pilot Project , 4) Analisis Kelayakan Usaha dengan Penerapan Teknologi Biotrikom. Tahun III yaitu peningkatan produktivitas dan kesejahteraan petani kelapa sawit rakyat dengan teknologi Bio- Trikom. Luaran yang dihasilkan tahun I: (1) Peningkatan pengetahuan tentang inovasi teknologi Bio-Trikom, 2) Karakteristik internal dan eksternal petani 3) Persepsi petani terhadap teknologi Bio-Trikom, 4) Respon aplikasi teknologi Bio- Trikom pada lokasi pilot project, 4)Jurnal Ilmiah, 5)Paten. Tahun II adalah 1) Tersedianya informasi tentang teknologi Bio-Trikom pada tanaman kelapa sawit, 2) Tersedianya informasi potensi kelembagaan petani swadaya dalam menjalin kemitraan, 3) Menjalin kerjasama dengan mitra swasta mapun PEMDA setempat,Tahun III peningkatan kesejahteraan dan produktivitas perkebunan kelapa sawit rakyat dengan teknologi biotrikom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan : 1) sosialisasi dan aplikasi teknologi biotrikom dengan metode penyuluhan dan demontrasi plot; 2) evaluasi respon dan tanggapan petani menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif berupa data karakteristik dan persepsi petani terhadap teknologi biotrikom; 3) kegiatan pilot project dilakukan dengan metode budidaya kelapa sawit ramah lingkungan dan didukung analisis kelayakan usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian formulasi Bio-trikom pada bibit kelapa sawit dapat meningkatkan pertambahan tinggi bibit kelapa sawit hingga mencapai 97,15%.

While the application of cultivation by farmers allegedly influenced by several social factors such as age, education, income, Area, Experience, and mortgage Family. The research was conducted in District of Batu Hampar and Bangko Pusako Rokan Hilir from June to August. This Research used descriptive survey method. Data collected in this research is secondary data and primary data and using purposive sampling technique.

    Tinjauan Pemupukan Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) Swadaya Masyarakat Pada Lahan Gambut Kecamatan bangko pusako kabupaten rokan hilir

    Fertilization is a factor that to watch to increase the production of palm oil plantations on peatlands. Type of fertilizer that is needed is that containing N, P, K, Ca and Mg. In the implementation fertilization should attention to 5 components, including the type of fertilizer used, fertilizer dose used, application timing, application method, quality fertilizer. This study aims to investigate the fertilizing palm oil on peatland resident of BangkoPusakoDistrict RokanHilir Regency. The research was carried out for 3 months, from January to March 2013 in the village of BangkoKanan and BangkoKiri of BangkoPusako District RokanHilir Regency on peatlands. This study uses a descriptive survey. The data collected in this study is secondary data and primary data as well as using random sampling techniques. The indicator studied were the origin seeds,transplanting seedlings, spacing of planting, arrangement midrib, weed control, fertilization and drainage. The results showed resident's palm oil production is still very low, which is 50 % below the average standard of palm oil production on peatlands issued by PPKS Medan. The low production of oil palm farmers caused by the incompatibility sample some technical aspects of oil palm cultivation by farmers, especially aspects of planting materials, planting and maintenance of oil palm plantations, especially in the aspect of fertilizers and fertilizing palm on peatlands are recommended according to the SOP.
