    Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Talking Stick Untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Koloid Di Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 7 Pekanbaru

    Research on the application of learning methods Talking Stick has been done to improve student achievement on the subject of colloid in class XI Science SMAN 7 Pekanbaru. Research is a form of experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted in the second semester 2013. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class XI IPA2 as the experimental class and the class XI IPA1 as a class controls randomly selected after tests of normality and homogeneity tests. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the data analysis using t-test formula obtained t> t table ie 4.0529> 1.997 means that the application of learning methods Talking Stick can improve student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI Science SMAN 7 Pekanbaru, the effect of an increase of 20.17 %.
