UJI AKTIVITAS SELULASE JAMUR PEKTINOLITIK TERMOTOLERAN INDIGENUS RIAU
    (2014-03-28) Mira; Martina, A.; Roza, R. M.
The indigenous isolates from Riau were known to have pectinolytic activity and thermotolerant, but their cellulase activity is still unknown. This study was aim to test the cellulase activity of 19 thermotolerant fungal isolates which are indigenous from Riau. The selection was done by using agar disk method. The determination of cellulase activity and biomass used a factorial complete randomized design (CRD) that consisted of two factors i.e. temperature and isolate. The result showed cellulase activity at 50°C was higher than at room temperature. Aspergillus fumigatus TT had the highest cellulolytic activity whereas Aspergilus sp.2 had the lowest cellulolytic activity. Temperature and isolates affected cellulase activity. Penicillium sp. PNE17 at 50°C had the highest cellulase activity and no significantly difference than Acremonium sp. PNE10. Temperature and isolates affected the biomass significantly but no interaction. Penicillium PNE17 had the highest biomass at room temperature (0,835 g/L) and at 50°C (0,330 g/L)
