Isolation and antibacterial assay of Isotoma longiflora (Wild.) Presl plants have been done. The isolation of secondary metabolites of I. longiflora (Wild.) Presl was carried out by maceration method using n-hexane and methanol as solvent. A total of 500 g I. longiflora (Wild.) Presl plants yielded 23.31 g and 55.43 g of n-hexane and methanol extract, respectively. The methanol extract was fractionated using VLC and column chromatography. Antibacterial assay was conducted by the agar diffusion method against Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The methanol extract and fraction exhibited weak activity against two bacterial tested.
