    ASPEK BIOLOGI REPRODUKSI IKAN HIDUNG BUDAK (Ceratoglanis scleronema Bleeker, 1862) DI SUNGAI MENTULIK, KAMPAR KIRI PROVINSI RIAU

    Mentulik river is one of the floodplain river ecosystems in Riau Province and the natural habitats for many fish species. Hidung Budak fish (Ceratoglanis scleronema Bleeker 1862) is one of the fish found in Mentulik River. This study was aimed to determine the reproduction aspects of C. scleronema such as sexuality, sex ratio, gonad maturity level, fecundity, eggs diametre and gonad maturity index. This study has been conducted on November 2014 until April 2015 in Mentulik River. The number of fish obtained were 65 individuals with 39 males and 26 female and sex ratio 1.5:1. The growing patterns of male and female fish was allometric negative. Gonad maturity level for male fishes founded were TKG I-IV and female were TKG I-V. The average length and body weight female fishes were ranged from 31.73 to 44 cm and174.3 to 285.06 g and for male fishes 35.3 to 41.33 cm and 155.09 to 249.97 g. Fecundity were ranged from 6191-32008 eggs, with a relatively uniform diametre of eggs in each sub section. The result indicated that C. scleronema is a total spawner.
