    Analisis Usaha Tani Bengkuang (Pachyrizisus erosus) di Desa Bukit Payung Kecamatan Bangkinang Seberang Kabupaten Kampar

    This study aims to determine the feasibility of yam farming income and constraints faced by farmers yam. The research method used is a case study and retrieval technique census respondents with a total population of 20 people yam farmers. The results showed an average of yam farming land in the village of Bukit Payung is 0.3 hectares. Total production costs of yam farming is Rp. 9.746.654/year, the revenue that the yam farmers Rp. 13.933.500/year, the income of Rp. 8.721.380/year and net profit is Rp.4.186, 846/year. The Value of Return Cost Ratio (RCR) from the analysis of yam farming is of 1.43 which means that farming is profitable and feasible to continue. Constraints faced by farmers in the farming yam production factors such as the price of seed is expensive, the more narrow the availability of land, marketing of yam which still rely on middlemen or toke and a rival with seasonal fruit.
