Penggunaan Trichokompos Jerami Padi Dengan Stater Trichoderma Sp Yang Berbeda Pada Padi Sawah (Oryza sativa L)
(2013-02-21) Rahmi, Efita; Elfina S, Yetti
The objective of this study is to determine the impact of trichocompost starter Trichoderma on growth and yield of rice. Experimental study was conducted using completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Each experimental unit consisted of four plants grown in a pot. The treatments were application of trichokompos with Trichoderma sp starter to increase the growth and rice yield including T0=Without trichocompost, T1=Trichocompost pseudokoningii, T2=Trichocompost harzianum T3=Trichocompost koningii, and T4=Trichocompost viride. Data obtained were statistically analyzed using the SAS version 9.0 and differences among treatment mean were tested by Duncan's New Multiple Range Test at the level of 5%. The results showed that the use of trichocompost started by Trichoderma spp increased plant height, plant dry weight and maximum number of tillers of rice. The use of trichocompost did not affect yield components such as the number of panicles, grains per panicle, percentage filled grain and grain weight per pot. However, there was an increase of all the components compared to the control, Plant disease can interfere with the use of rice straw trichocompost in increasing rice production and T. pseudokoningii was better starter to composting rice hay.
