    PERBAIKAN METODE OSTROWSKI UNTUK MENCARI AKAR PERSAMAAN NONLINEAR

    This article discusses an improvement for the iterative method based on the Ostrowski. Analytically, it is showed using Taylor expansion and geometry series that this iterative method has a convergence sixht-order. Numerical comparison shows that the method converges more quickly to the root of the expected than the comparison methods. This method can be used as an alter- native method to solve nonlinear equations.
