Slamet, M.Kes, AIFO3 PENDIDIKAN OLAHRAGA (PENJASKES) FAKULTAS KEGURUAN DAN ILMU PENDIDIKAN UNIVERSITAS RIAU Abstract This study aimed to determine the relationship of the arm and shoulder muscle strength with accuracy over a volleyball serve the students of SMP Negeri 6 Rumbai. The research is correlational studies that measure the association put a numerical value to determine the level of association or the power relationships between different variables. The population in this study is the Junior High School volleyball team 6 Rumbai that 13 people, because the population less then the total sample is the technique of sampling. The results of the data analysis revealed that the normal distribution of data tables for L = 0234> Lo Max -0.168. Relations arm and shoulder muscle strength with accuracy over a volleyball serve the students of SMP Negeri 6 Rumbai for = 0.682. At the significance level of 5% was found table r = 0.553. thus the count r> r table or 0.682> 0.553 with strong relationship-level category. Furthermore, to test the significance of correlation significance using t-test formula. From the results of the calculation are known t = 3.95 while the t table at 95% confidence level is 1796. thus it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) that "The presence of power relations arm and shoulder muscles with the precision of a volleyball serve the students of SMP Negeri 6 Rumbai." acceptable
