Biological aspects and morphometrics of the digestive apparatus of the green spotted puffer fish (Tetraodon nigroviridis) had been studied in estuarine of Bengkalis waters, Riau Province. This research was aimed to study stomach contents and morphometric parameters of the digestive apparatus. Total length of the males green spotted puffer fish which found during this study were ranges 38-173 mm and female were 51-158 mm. The natural food which was found in the stomach of the green spotted puffer fish consists of fish, shrimp, mussel, bivalva, animal debris, fitoplankton and zooplankton. The length of intestine from male specimens were 0,8-1,8 times of the body, whereas females specimens have intestine 0,7-1,7 times of the body length. The ratio of stomach, intestine length, ratio intestine length, and ratio ISI (Intestinal Somatic Index) have positive correlation with total body length of the green spotted puffer fish. The result reveals that the green spotted puffer fish is karnivorous fish based on main food and intestine length.
