    One form of protection that became the right for a victim is to get compensation. Some regulation in Indonesia manage about the compensation distribution such as Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Acara Pidana, Undang – Undang No. 26 Tahun 2000 about human right court, Undang – Undang No. 13 Tahun 2006 about protection for victim and witness, Peraturan Pemerintah No. 3 Tahun 2002 about compensation, restitution, and rehabilitation for the severe human rights violations. But based on the observation, it’s rarely the victim of the criminal violation get compensation.
