    Faktor Penyebab Ketidakhadiran Ibu yang Memiliki Balita ke Posyandu di Desa Banjar Seminai Kecamatan Dayun Kabupaten Siak

    This study aimed to determine the factors associated with the absence of mothers of toddlers to health posts and maternal knowledge about posyandu Seminai Banjar village in 2012. Data analysis is done by way of explaining the data into the form of frequency tables with descriptive anlisa complete with percentages. To analyze the data in a qualitative study was conducted, the data are presented descriptively deikumpulkan then the portrait / recount results with a logical sentence description in order to understand and easy to understand. The population in this study are all mothers with children under five and the sampling technique is by purposive sampling as many as 20 informants. Pursuant to result of research of mother of children under five shall no longger attend in its posyandu it him children under five which is have age to above one year, because mother of children under five feel that its child have got to immunize complete and residence distance, vehicle inexistence, and weather factor also can influence storey, level attendance of mother of children under five to posyandu and also mount knowledge a mother influence knowledge about benefit or usefulness of posyandu to its health of him. so that many mother owning children under five do not come to posyandu. The study recommends the Banjar village pustu Seminai that intensified counseling efforts on posyandu to mother and toddler to organizer of posyandu suggested to fit the desires of the community in general
