Y.; Balatif, N.An investigation on the toxicity of srikaya (Annona squamosa ) extract has been done by using the Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT). The extract was obtained by macerating the leaves of A. squamosa using n-hexane and methanol respectively. The methanol extract was fractionated by vacuum liquid chromatography method (VLC). The results showed that the extracts of n-hexane and methanol more toxic than the fraction 4.
