    ANALISIS VEGETASI BAMBUDI KECAMATAN RETEH KABUPATENINDRAGIRI HILIR PROVINSI RIAU

    Reteh Subdistrict of Indragiri Hilir Riau Province is a region that has many bamboo plants with a diversity of the medium bamboo species. Bamboo is an ecologically adaptiveplant and can be found in areas with a height of 0-2.000 masl. The purpose of this research was to know the diversity and analyze the bamboo vegetation in the Reteh subdistrict of Indragiri Hilir, Riau Province. This study useda survey method wich was held from October 2019 to March 2020 in three regions within Reteh subdistrict, namely the Pulau Kijang Urbanvillage, Madani Urbanvillage and Pulau Kecil Village. Result of the research obtained six species of bamboo namely Bambusa Heterostachya, Bambusa vulgaris var. striata, Dendrocalamus asper, Gigantochloa sp, Bambusa multiplex, Bambusa vulgaris var. vulgaris. The dominant bamboo specieswasBambusa heterostachya with higher density and frequency compared to other bamboo species.
