KONTAMINASI Pb, Cu, Cd dan Zn PADA SEDIMEN LAUT SEBAGAI INDIKATOR PENCEMAR DI SELAT PANJANG RIAU
(2019-11) Siregar, Yusni Ikhwan; Zulkifli, Zulkifli
Coastal waters were oftenly considerred as a final destination of pollution transported from landbase as well as seabased activities. The present study aims at gaining information on contamination of Pb, Cu, Cd and Zn in the srait of Selat Panjang. Heavy metals analysis were performed for water column as well as marine sedimen as indicator of pollution. Five stasion with three replicates were spacially established within the study area. The sediment samples were collected with Eckman Grab and kept in ice box prior to analysing in Laboratorium. Heavy metals analysis were performed using AAS Perkin Elmer (Model 3110). It revealed that concentration of Pb, Cu, Cd and Zn of sediment range; (0,157-0,330), (0.035-0.374), (0.083-1.127) and (0.498-0.988), respectively. Compared to heavy metals concentration in water column, the concentration factors in sediment appeared 35, 40, 40 and 5.5 fold, respectively. It indicated that the ecokinetics of heavy metals in the long run accumulated in marine sediment.
