This research used descriptive correlation design with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique explored convenience sampling with 30 long bone fracture patients which selected based on inclusion criteria. The equipment was used to measure pain is pain scale. Anxiety scales used for measuring Hamilton’s instrument. Data analysis applied were univariate and bivariate by using chi-square test with P value is taken from Fisher’s Exact Test. The result of this research showed obtained the p value 0.04 < α 0,05. it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the level of pain with the level of anxiety in patients with long-bone fractures. Results of this study recommend to health workers in hospitals to provide interventions that may reduce pain so that anxiety can also be reduced.Item PENGARUH RELAKSASI BENSON TERHADAP PENURUNAN KECEMASAN PADA PASIEN KANKER SERVIKS(2013-07-24) Riska; Misrawati; AgrinaThe aim of this research was to determine the influence of Benson relaxation to reduce anxiety in patient with cervical cancer. This research used a design “Quasy experiments” approach pretest-posttest design with control group was divided into experimental group and control group. The sampling technique used accidental sampling with 30 patients with cervical cancer which selected based on inclusion criteria. A measuring tool used in both group was Hamilton Anxiety Ratting Scale (HARS). The analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the dependent sample t test and independent sample t test. The results showed that there was a decreased anxiety level (p value= 0,000) of experimental group after given Benson relaxation. It means the benson relaxation is effective to reduce anxiety in patient with cervical cancer. The results of this research is expected to be one of the nursing interventions to reduce anxiety in patient with cervical cancer.
