Item Analisis Karakteristik Lahan Gambut di Bawah Tegakan Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit di Provinsi Riau(2013-07-31) Fahrozi, Oksariwan; Idwar; Besri,NasrulThe relationship of palmoil plantations development with peatland characteristic until now has not been known. One reason why not a lot of available information concerning the relationship is due to the lack of studies that examine the changes in forest vegetation for palm oil plantations. This study aims to identify the characteristics of peat (physics, chemistry and biology) and evaluate the changes after undertaking as palm oil plantations in Riau Province. This study was conducted in August-October 2011 in Bengkalis and Siak Sri Indrapura Regency. The research method was survey andparameters of peatland characteristics identified are: permeability, colour, bulk density, particle density, total pore space, water levels, subsidence, peat thickness, peat maturity, depth of ground water level, pH H2O, pH KCl, C-Organic, N-Total, P available, P-Total, cation exchange capacity, Ca, Mg, K, Na , Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, base saturation, respiration and total population of soil macrofauna. The results showed that the characteristics of peatlands as the changes after undertaking as palm oil plantations are: thickness of the peat, the rate of subsidence, the depth of ground water level, pH of soil and nutrient content in the soil.Item Analisis Perbandingan Pendapatan Petani Peserta Feati dan Non Feati Pada Usahatani Padi Sawah di Desa Bahal Gajah, Kecamatan Sidamanik, Kabupaten Simalungun)(2013-04-17) Kartika, Dewi; Hadi,Syaiful; Yulida,RozaThis research was done with goals: 1)To know the mechanism realization of farmer efficiency on FEATI’s program. 2) To Compare the productivity and income of FEATI and Non FEATI’s farmer on Rice-Field Farm business. 3) To Compare the level efficiency Rice-Field Farm business of FEATI and Non- FEATI’s farmer. This research was done on April 2012 until August with used total sample 24 Rice-Field Farmer, which included FEATI and Non-FEATI’s farmer. The efficiency realization of FEATI’s farmer had compatible with the components FEATI’s program, it was ‘A component’ which purpose to strength the information system according to the farmer necessity and ‘C component’ was done by presented the technology meeting between farmer researcher-investigator which very helpful farmer to increase productivity, income and welfare by increasing the connectivity of information, technology, financial, and production infrastructure and also agribusiness improvement. According to the calculation and analysis, can be know that on the average productivity per Ha of FEATI and Non FEATI’s farmer on Rice-Field Farm business, each of them 5.339 Kg GKP and 4.794,67 Kg GKP with total income Rp. 7.607.701 and Rp 4.950.682. Whereas, total for the level of suitable in the amount of 1,90 for FEATI and 1,53 for Non FEATI. From the result of analysis test t showed that productivity, income and level efficiency of FEATI’s farmer higher/bigger than Non-FEATI’s farmer. That’s because of the value t hit > t table. So, the conclusion that FEATI’s program influence to the level productivity, income and level efficiency of rice-field.Item Aplikasi Abu Serbuk Gergaji dan Pupuk Guano di Lahan Gambut Serta Pengaruhnya Terhadap Kandungan P Tanaman, Pertumbuhan dan Komponen Hasil Padi Gogo (Oryza Sativa L.)(2013-02-07) Gustian, Engga; Sjofjan,Jurnawaty; Yetti,HusnaThe research aimed to study the effect of sawdust ash and manure P content Guano on plant growth, yield components of upland rice, and get the proper dosage. The experiment was conducted at the experimental farm of the Agriculture Faculty, Rimbo Panjang, Kampar and carried out in September until February 2012. Research conducted experiments using Randomized Block Design (RBD) 4 x 3 factorial. The first factor is sawdust ash (A), which consists of 4 standard, namely, A0 (without sawdust), A1 : 1.5 kg/plot (5 tons/ha), A2 : 2.25 kg/plot (7,5 tons/ha), A3 : 3 kg/plot (10 tons/ha). The second factor is the Guano Fertilizer (G) consisting of: G0 (without Guano Fertilizer), G1 : 90 gram (300 kg/ha), G2 : 180 grams (600 kg/ha). The results obtained by analysis of variance test was tested further by Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at the level of 5%. From the research it can be concluded from some ASG and fertilizer dose level Guano looks combined ASG 3 kg/plot and 180 g/plot Guano gives the highest yield average on most parameters. Dose ASG 2.25 kg/plot with Guano 180 g/plot did not differ significantly with the combination of ASG 3 kg/plot and fertilizer Guano 180 g/plot at all parameters.Item Aplikasi Kompos Bunga Jantan Kelapa Sawit Pada Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis jacq.) Di Pembibitan Utama(2013-06-21) Hamidiyanto, Risco; Sampoerno; Khoiri, AmrulThis study aimed to determine the effect of dose of compost palm male flower to the growth of oil palm seedlings. Results of the content analysis of male flowers of oil palm compost is N 2.01%, 0.541% P, 0.96% K, 0.36% Mg with a C / N Ratio 16.6. The research was conducted at the Experimental Station Unit Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau Jl. Bina Widya Kelurahan Baru. Kec.Tampan, Pekanbaru. The research was carried out for 5 months starting from August to November 2012. The design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 replications non-factorial. The treatment is K0 (Without giving compost male flowers), K1 (130 g compost male flowers / 10 kg soil), K2 (140 g compost male flowers / 10 kg soil), K3 (150 g compost male flowers / 10 kg soil) , K4 (160 g compost male flowers / 10 kg soil), K5 (170 g compost male flowers / 10 kg soil), K6 (180 g compost male flowers / 10 kg soil). The parameters measured were plant height increment (cm), increase the amount of oil palm seedling leaves (pieces), added oil palm seedlings stump diameter (cm), oil palm seedling root volume (ml), oil palm seedlings dry weight (g) quality index seeds (QIS) . Based on the results of the study increasing doses of compost palm male flower given to oil palm seedlings significant effect on plant height increment, increment stump diameter, root volume parameters, and plant dry weight did not significantly affect the increase of leaf. As each treatment is K0 = Without compost (0 tons / ha), K1 = TKKS Compost 5 tons / ha, (25 g / polybag), K2 = TKKS compost 10 tons / ha (50 g / polybag ), K3 = TKKS compost 15 tons / ha (75 g / polybag), K4 = TKKS compost 20 tonnes / ha (100 g / polybag), and K5 = TKKS compost 30 tons / ha (150 g / polybag). Units of the experiment consists of four oil palm seedlings, so it takes 72 seeds. Parameters were observed among other plants gain height, increase the number of leaves, increase tuber diameter, root volume, relative growth rate, the ratio of crown roots, seedling dry weight. The number of experimental unit is 18. The results of analysis of variance was tested further by DNMRT at the level of 5%. The results showed that of the composition of the fertilizer increase the growth and production of crops on varieties IR 42 and Sanapi. The growth and production of varieties IR 42 out better than Sanapi that looks at : plant height, panicle length, panicle branch length, number of grains panicle, number panicle pithy grain, 1000 grain weight and production clump. On the variety IR 42, composition of fertilizer not show the real diversification which is visible from the parameters : the total number of tillers, number of productive tillers, flowering plant age, the amount of grain panicle, panicle pithy amount of grain and production clump. Just like with the varieties Sanapi parameters indicated by : the number of productive tillers, panicle length, panicle branch length, number of grains and production clump.Item Aplikasi Naungan dan Pupuk Kascing Untuk Pertumbuhan dan Perkembangan Bibit Kakao Hibrida (Theobroma cacao L.)(2013-04-30) Fauzi, Yulia; Sampoerno; MurniatiCocoa is one of the plantation crops which ranks third after palm oil and rubber tree. Cocoa is C3 plants that is tollerant to the low sun intensity. One way to achieve these conditions by providing shade. Shade that used to the cocoa seedling consists of artificial shade and natural shade. One of natural shade is palm tree and artificial shade are made from palm midrib arranged adjacent. Besides shade, cocoa also need fertilizer, vermicompost fertilizer is one of the beneficial fertilizer for plants. This research conducted experiments using separate plot design (with 2 factor and 3 replications). The main plot is a shade treatment consisting of two kinds, palm midrib (N1) and stand under the shade of palm trees (N2) and subplot treatment is vermicompost fertilizer that consists of 4 stages which is K0 (without fertilizer), K1 (15 g/polybag), K2 (25 g/polybag) K3 (35 g/polybag). Data were statically analyzed using the analysis of variance and further tested by Duncan Multiple range Test 5%. The parameters measured were plant heigh (cm) number of leaves (leaf), girth (cm), leaf area (cm2) and dry weight (g). By observe the response of seedlings after treatment through the parameters it can concluded that the best treatment is the shade of palm midrib and 25 g/polybag vermicompost fertilizer, which being able to provide good response to the observed parameters such as seedling height (29,00 cm), number of leaves ( 21,16 leafe), girth ( 2,55 cm), leaf area (66,81 cm2) and dry weight (10,38 gram).Item Aplikasi Pupuk Mejemuk Pada Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis jacq) di Lahan Gambut Fakultas Pertanian Rimbo Panjang Kabupaten Kampar(2013-02-05) Dalimunthe, Aidil Afriadi; Ardian; Khoiri,M.AmrulOil palm plantations on peatland is now beingfould mainlyin Kalimantan and Riau Province. The observations from October 2011 until march 2012, with dasis fertilization 320, 280, 240,and its application to the system of planting (pocet) and stocking directly over the dish of oil palm plantations (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) produce. This research aims to produce oil palm seedlings are of good quality. The experiment was conducted for 3 months, starting in July 2012 to October 2012. The experiment was conducted in Unit, Faculty of Agriculture Experimental Station Riau. The design used was a factorial arranged in RAL comprising two factors: The first factor is the provision of fertilizer Biotrikom comprising 4 levels, ie T0 = Without fertilizer Biotrikom / polybag, fertilizer Biotrikom T1 = 50 g / polybag, T2 = fertilizer Biotrikom 100 g / polybag, fertilizer Biotrikom T3 = 150 g / polybag, Factor II is Sigi NPK fertilizer tablet comprised of P0 = Without NPK fertilizer Tablet Sigi / polybag, P1 = Giving NPK Sigi Tablet 1 Tablet / polybag, P2 = Giving NPK Sigi Tablet 2 Tablet / polybag, and P3 = Giving NPK Sigi 3 Tablet Tablet / polybag. Then further tested with DNMRT at 5% level. Parameters measured were seedling height increment (cm), in the number of leaf (blade), increase seed tuber diameter (cm), canopy dry weight (g), root dry weight (g), ratio of crown roots and seed quality index. Based on this research, Tablet turns giving Sigi NPK showed no apparent effect on all parameters, whereas fertilizer Biotrikom significant effect on seedling height parameters, stump diameter, canopy dry weight and root dry weight. Further test results show the interaction of NPK Sigi Tablet 2 Tablet / polybag with fertilizer Biotrikom 150 g / polybag provide the best growth parameters of leaf number, diameter ratio and crown root weevil.Item Aplikasi Pupuk Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) One place that has shade is under oil palm plantations. the use of compound fertilizers is also very good to do. Compound fertilizer is a fertilizer that contains more than one element(N, P, and K). To reduce the cost of fertilizer, compound fertilizer is often used as an alternative as a single-use fertilizer. This research was conducted to determine the effect of NPK fertilizer to cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) planted among several stands of oil palm plantation. The design used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) non factorial consisting of one factor, namely NPK fertilizers, the treatment was repeated 4 times, so the total number of plants used are 20 cocoa crop. The dosage was as follows: N0 = 0 g / plant, N1 = 10 g / plant, N2 = 20 g / plant, N3 = 30 g / plant and N4 = 40 g / plant. Based on the study conducted we found that the NPK fertilizer applied on the seed plants in several doses gives a real influence on the parameters of plant's height and girth, but not significantly different from the parameters of the number of leaves, root dry weight and leaf area. NPK fertilizer at a dose of 30 g / plant showed better results compared to no fertilizer NPK, giving 10 g / NPK plant, giving 20 g / NPK fertilizer plant and the provision of 40 g / NPK plants.Item Aplikasi Pupuk Organik Cair dan Pupuk Kandang Ayam Terhadap Pertumbuhan Vegetatif dan Produksi Tanaman Sawi (Brassica juncea L.)(2013-06-21) Tarigan, Niko Kristian; Armaini; Elza ZuhryThe purpose of this study was to look for supplementary doses of liquid fertilizer and chicken manure and the best combination for growing mustard plants. The study was conducted at the experimental farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. This study was conducted from January to March 2012. The research was done experimentally by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial consisting of two factors, the first factor consisted of two levels: P = liquid fertilizer supplement (3cc / l, 6cc / l of water). The second factor consists of 3 levels: K = Giving chicken manure (0.5 kg / plot, 10 kg / plot, 1.5 kg / plot) and 3 replication. The data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The data obtained were further tested by Duncans New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at the level of 5%. Indicators of parameter viewed from Plant Height, Number of leaves, leaf area, root length, and weight Fresh Harvest Crops. The results showed that the concentration of combined with a dose of liquid fertilizer complement and chicken manure applied in the mustard plant can increase the production of mustard plants. The plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight of the plant and harvesting the best there is in the complementary treatment of liquid manure concentration of 6 cc / l of water with chicken manure fertilizer 1.5 kg / plot (P2K3).Item Aplikasi Tricho-Kompos Jerami Padi dan Abu Serbuk Gergaji Pada Pembibitan Awal Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis jacq)(2013-01-10) Fahmi; Sampoerno; ArmainiPalm oil production is influenced by the quality of seeds, seed quality is also determined by the medium nursery. Research by providing tricho-compost and rice straw ash sawdust in growing media, is predicted to improve the nature and character of the medium so as to increase the nutrient content for seedling growth. This study aimed to determine the dose of Tricho-compost and straw ashes and chainsaws the best combination for the growth of oil palm seedlings in the nursery early. The research was done experimentally by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial with two factors: the dose of Tricho-compost and sawdust ash. Tricho-compost dose given is T0 = 0 kg / polybag, T1 = 0.01 kg / polybag (10 g / polybag), T2 = 0.02 kg / polybag (20 g / polybag) and a dose of sawdust ash is A0 = no addition (0 kg / polybag), A1 = 0.01 kg / polybag (10 g / polybag), A2 = 0.02 kg / polybag (20 g / polybag). The results showed that administration of either single / combination tricho-compost with sawdust ash high dose of 20 g / polybag give the best effect on seedling height, number of leaves, tubers circumference, root volume, root dry weight and dry weight of the canopy.Item Compost Lcc Mucuna bracteata And Npk Tablet Fertilizer Application On Thegrowth Of Oil Palm Seedlings ( Elaeis guineensis jacq ) In The Main Nursery(2013-02-06) rambe, Taufik ristumoyo; Sampoerna; Manurung, GulatAbstrak This research aim to know giving influence of compost LCC Mucuna bracteata ( MB) and NPK tablet at growth of seed palm and best treatment at growth of seed palm in main nursery bed. This treatment in executing experimentally with by using Completely randomized design ( RAL) which consist of 5 treatment and 3 restating, so that entirely 15 attempt units. Every attempt unit consisted of 3 polybag crop and 2 between it as sample, P0: Without fertilizer, P1: compost LCC MB 25 g/10 soil;land;ground kg + NPK 1 tablet, P2: compost LCC MB 50 g/10 soil;land;ground kg + NPK 2 tablet, P3: compost LCC MB 75 g/10 soil;land;ground kg + NPK 3 tablet, P4:compost LCC MB 100 g/10 soil;land;ground kg + NPK 4 tablet. Analysis of variance result showing existence of reality difference, continued with tested to be continuation with deep experiment Duncans New Multiple Range Test ( DNMRT) at level 5%. Based on research result which has been done indicates that giving of compost LCC + NPK TABLET at nursery bed of palm in main nursery bed had an effect on to high increase, increase of number of leaves, cusp diameter, root volume, dry weight and seed root coronet ratio. From this research giving best influence at dose 100 g/10 soil;land;ground kg + 4 tablet.Item Daya Pemangsaan Cecopet (Euborellia annulata fabricus) (Dermaptera: Annisolabididae) Lokal Terhadap Larva Kumbang Janur Kelapa (Brontispa longissima gestro) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) Di Laboratorium(2013-06-25) M. Alhadad; Salbiah, Desita; Sutikno, AgusOne of the problems is that there is increased production of coconut pests attack crops (OPT) coconut leaf beetle (Brontispa longissima Gestro). Alternative control is environmentally friendly with the use of natural enemies. Some of the potential natural enemies that can be used are predators cecopet (Euborellia annulata Fabricus) locally. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of the imago cecopet prey (E. annulata Fabricus) on local coconut leaf beetle larvae (B. longissima Gestro). This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Pest Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau from September to November 2012. This research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications that is one female, one male, two females, two males, and a couple (male and female). The treatment is the treatment most prey 2 tail female imago capable of coconut leaf beetle larvae prey (B. longissima Gestro) that is 85% more, compared to other treatments that imago pair of male and female 75%, male imago treatment 2 tails 70%, treatment 1 tail female imago 63.75%, and treatment 1 tail male imago 60%. Most predation occurs in the first hour for the treatment of female imago 2 heads, 1 tail imago females and 1 male imago tail. In treatment 2 tails and a pair of male imago imago males and females, most predation occurs in the second hour.Item Efektifitas Media Penyuluhan Yang Diberikan Kepada Petani Pepaya Hawai (Carica papaya L.) di Kelurahan Rumbai Bukit Kecamatan Rumbai Kota Pekanbaru(2013-08-27) Franki; Yulida,Roza; ElizaThere are some types of ekstension media that are used by the farmers for running their business. Nevertheless, the type of the most effective media which is very effective to be used is still being questioned. This research about the effectiveness of media was carried out in Rumbai Bukit sub-district Rumbai District Pekanbaru City. The location was chosen under these considerations, in Rumbai Bukit sub-district there are some Hawaiian Papaya culture which are being developed and also some existing media information used by the farmers. Sampling method used in this research is Simple Random Sampling by the number of respondents consist of 30 people. To measure attitudes, opinions, and perceptions of a person or a group of social phenomenon questionnaire was used in line with Likert scale method. With the Likert scale, the variables to be measured are translated into an indicator variable. Variables that are measured in this study are the variables of the information media effectiveness used upon the Hawaiian papaya farmers in Rumbai Bukit Sub-district Pekanbaru City. From the conducted research, there are three types of ekstension media that were obtained, namely: 1) Agricultural Extension (PPL); 2) Peasant Organizations and 3) Books, where the Agricultural Extension (PPL) is regarded as the effective information media for the Hawaiian papaya farmers in Rumbai Bukit sub-district, Rumbai district, Pekanbaru city. This is because the field of agricultural extension information media (PPL) is easily found and is sensitive to the problems of farmers. In order that, the media can affect extent targeted receive an information, one internal factor or target can also affect the acceptance of information. The level of formal education of farmers is very varied and differing educational level also may be easier to receive the information by different media. The methode of this research is used completely randomized design whit two factors: multimedia (audio visual motion and audio visual silence) and education level ( SMA). The number of samples used is 60 rice farmers. Analysis of data used is T test and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result of analysis showed a very real improvement after seeing multimedia extension. The used of audio visual motion has a better ability than audio visual silence. While the level of education did not significally affect for increasment of respondents knowledge. It can be conclude that the use of audio visual motion is more effective than the use visual silence either on level education SMA. The light interception by the plant grown in the sloping area may effect growth and yield of certain crops.The objective of this research is to asses the impact of pollination, slope and slope direction on oilpalmproductionandto determine the effectivity ofnatural pollination onfruit setand development. Thefield experimentalwere arranged in asplit plot design,where fivepatternsof slope such as0-4%, 12-24%east-west, 2 12-24%west-east, 24-38%east-west,and 24-38%west-east were assignedas the main plot and two types of pollination such as assisted pollination and natural pollination as sub plot. Planting material from varietas Marihat with year of planting 1996, there were 3 replication every combination in 3 slope direction (0-4%, 12-24% TB, 12-24%BT, 24-38%TB and 24-38% BT) with 2 method of pollination that`sway there are 30 palms as sample.Polen used for assisted pollination were obtainedfron the plant grown according the slope. Data collected were thenumberofnormal fruit per bunch, numberofpartenocarphyfruit, fruit weight, kernelweight, fresh bunch weight and the ratio of fruit to bunch.For natural pollination, the numberoffruitset and partenocarpic fruits were higher in the flat land (slope of 0-4%)while for controlled assisted pollination, the highest number of fruit set and partenocarpic fruits were found in the slope of 24-345. Fruit and kernelweightincreased on theslope of 12-24% compared to those in the flate land. Natural pollination were more effective in the area with the slope less than 24%, while controlled assisted pollination resulted higher fruit and kernel weight than that produced through natural pollination. Nevertheless, the type of the most effective media which is very effective to be used is still being questioned. This research about the effectiveness of media was carried out in Rumbai Bukit sub-district Rumbai District Pekanbaru City. The location was chosen under these considerations, in Rumbai Bukit sub-district there are some Hawaiian Papaya culture which are being developed and also some existing media information used by the farmers. Sampling method used in this research is Simple Random Sampling by the number of respondents consist of 30 people. To measure attitudes, opinions, and perceptions of a person or a group of social phenomenon questionnaire was used in line with Likert scale method. With the Likert scale, the variables to be measured are translated into an indicator variable. Variables that are measured in this study are the variables of the information media effectiveness used upon the Hawaiian papaya farmers in Rumbai Bukit Sub-district Pekanbaru City. From the conducted research, there are three types of ekstension media that were obtained, namely: 1) Agricultural Extension (PPL); 2) Peasant Organizations and 3) Books, where the Agricultural Extension (PPL) is regarded as the effective information media for the Hawaiian papaya farmers in Rumbai Bukit sub-district, Rumbai district, Pekanbaru city.
