Abstract
Average length of schooling, life expectancy, length of schooling expectancy and
middle age enrollment rates are variables that contribute to the percentage of
poverty. The data used are data from BPS Riau Province 2015 - 2018 in the form
of cross section and time series data, then regression analysis which is a statistical
analysis to explain the relationship of a response variable using one or more
explanatory variables is carried out using panel data regression which has 3
models. the best, between the common effect model, fixed effect and random
effect. By comparing the common effect, fixed effect and random effect models in
order to obtain the best modeling for the percentage of poverty in Riau Province
Regency / City, namely the random effect model.
