Abstract
Pyrrosia lanceolata is a Polipodiaceae fern. This fern is found growing attached to the
branches of an old tree, the rhizome spreads long, the leaves are round, but some are oval,
and the texture is thin and fleshy. This plant is widely used by the community as herbal
medicine. However, the toxicity of this plant has not been thoroughly studied. The Brine
Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) results indicated that the crude extract of n-hexane, ethyl
acetate, dichloromethane (DCM), and water was not toxic, with an LC50 value of
>1000 ppm
