Abstract
The low production is not suitable caused sample farmers in the application of oil palm cultivation
techniques are recommended SOP ( Standard Operational Procedure) The Success of a business of oil
palm cultivation in the district Batu Hampar and Bangko Pusako, is determined by the act of cultivation by
farmers, ranging from oil palm nursery, land clearing, planting and care of plants which include stitching,
planting ground cover (Cover crop), eradication of weeds, fertilizing, castration, control pest and diseases
in accordance with the SOP ( Standard Operating Procedure). While the application of cultivation by
farmers allegedly influenced by several social factors such as age, education, income, Area, Experience,
and mortgage Family. The research was conducted in District of Batu Hampar and Bangko Pusako
Rokan Hilir from June to August. This Research used descriptive survey method. Data collected in this
research is secondary data and primary data and using purposive sampling technique.
