dc.description.abstractA study of density and closeness of water plant at Segati River of Langgam district Pelalawan regency Riau has done. A study on to ses density, and closeness of water plant. The method used quadrate transect of 10 x 10 cm. There were 3 Stasiun observed with 2rd transects. Water plant species found were eight which belong to four class and eight families, namely Pteridopsida, Liliopsida, Monocotyledonae, Magnoliopsida dan Salviniaceae, Pontederiaceae, Poaceae, Haloragaceae, Cyperaceae, Pandanaceae, Poaceae, Euphorbiaceae. The distributions and species composition are varied dominated by Pandanus tectorius. The density of water plant varied between to 0-97 individuals/m2 and highest by Pandanus tectorius. Water quality of Langgam district is suitald for biota live of water plant.en_US
