| dc.description.abstract | Folklore is one of the literary works which contains many elements of cultural values. These elements includes cultural values, social values, education values and others. Works B.M. Syamsuddin is one of the literary works that contain many cultural values. Formulation of the problem in this research is the cultural values of what are contained in a collection of folk tales from Bintan works BM Syamsuddin review of aspects of the human relationship with God, nature, society, other people and yourself accordance the character of elementary school children?. The purpose of this research was to describe the cultural values are to be used the author in a collection of folk tales from Bintan review of aspects of the human relationship with God, nature, society, other people and yourself in accordance the character of elementary school children. This research method is descriptive method. Data source is a collection of folk tales from Bintan. Data collection techniques using literature techniques. Based on the results of the research concluded that in the folklore collection from Bintan, BM Syamsuddin want to convey cultural values are very useful for the readers. Cultural values contained in a collection of folk tales from Bintan based on the results of analysis can be categorized based on five human relations, namely (1) the culture of human relationship with God is belief or faith in God and surrender, (2) cultural value of human relationships with nature, namely the utilization natural resources, (3) cultural value of human relationships with the community that is the value of patriotism, deliberations, and adherence to the tradition, (4) Culture value of human relationships with human namely helpful, tolerant, forgiving love, affection, largest share in return, obedience, and loyalty, (5) cultural value of human relationship with yourself that is responsible, and courage. Cultural values contained in a collection of folk tales from Bintan is very important to apply in life and the cultural values in accordance with the character of elementary school children. | en_US |
