Abstract

Action research has been done to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics through cooperative learning model bamboo dance technique class of IV SD Negeri 011 Parit Aman Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir semester academic year 2011/2012 on the subject matter fractions. The research was conducted in the SD Negeri 011 Parit Aman Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir semester academic year 2011/2012, amounting to 29 people consisting of men 15 and women 14. This study was conducted in two cycles consisting of the first cycle and second cycle each of the three meetings and one-time daily tests. The results showed that the number of students achieving mastery criteria Minumum 60 on the base score 14 students (48.27%), decreased in the first cycle to 13 students (44.82%) but on the second cycle increased to 25 students (86.20% ). Implementation of cooperative learning model bamboo dance techniques in mathematics learning would enhance students' at SD Negeri 011 Parit Aman Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir academic year 2011/2012
