dc.description.abstract	This paper discusses an approach to determine the optimal solution of the unbalanced transportation problems detailing the work of Ji and Chi published in Asia Pacific Journal of Operational Research 19, pp. 34-45 (2002). The objective function of the problem is to minimize the total shipping costs. Starting from building dual of the primal transportation problems, this transportation problem is solved by using a dual-matrix approach algorithm to obtain allocation of more profitable products. Finally, we show a numerical example how the method works	en_US
