Abstract
Education & training and motivation assessed could affect employee
performance. In connection with this, the problem is formulated as follows: Is the
education and training, motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on the
performance of Mechanics at PT. Pulau Sambu Cabang Kuala Enok? Are
education and training partially significant effect on the performance of
Mechanics at PT. Pulau Sambu Cabang Kuala Enok? Is motivation a significant
effect on the performance of Mechanics at PT. Pulau Sambu Cabang Kuala Enok?
The author conducted research at PT. Pulau Sambu Cabang Kuala Enok
with the sample studied was karaywan mechanical parts totaling 80 people. For
this research policies, the sampling is done by census. Thus, the entire population
sampled in this study. To complete the data, the author uses primary data and
secondary data in this study. Then the techniques of data collection is done by
interview and questionnaire. While the analysis of research conducted using
multiple linear regression, F test and t test. The entire test using SPSS version
17.0.
From the results of the discussion to note any changes of education and
training and motivation, can affect employee performance mechanics. The results
partially on education and training known significant levels assessed 0.050>
0.018, which means that the education and training of employees affects the
performance of mechanical parts. Then the obtained results a significant level of
motivation assessed 0.050> 0.000 means of motivation assessed greatly affect
employee performance mechanical parts. Thus, the dominant factor affecting
performance is the motivation.
