ABSTRACT
This research is a study of a class act that is doing the action in science
learning. This research was conducted in the Tarai Wake District elementary
school number 037 Tambang and the research that will be implemented in the first
2 years 2010/2011. The subject of the research this is a class act students in grades
IV elementary school number 037 Tarai Bangun up with a number of students 34
people. The Data in this study were collected by giving the test results of the
study. As for the activities of teachers and students by means of direct observation
using the observation sheets teachers and students. Based on the results of such
analysis and discussion presented in chapter IV can be concluded that with the
implementation of cooperative Learning model Types Think the Pair share can
improve Learning Outcomes science grade IV elementary school number 037
Tarai Bangun. Improved learning results can be presented that: 1) Student
Learning Outcomes in learning models in the use of Think to improve the results
of pairs, Share learning science on Grade IV elementary school number 037 Tarai
Bangun cycle I get a percentage of 71% and ketuntasan on cycle II increased to
85%. 2) observations of teacher's activity at the first meeting to get an average
score of 57% to the category of "good" and the second meeting of 63% also in the
category either. Cycle II of 73% with very good category to be 84% and 89% at
the meeting of 2 and 3 with the categories is very good. 3) development of
individual and group values are converted to the value of the award has also
undergone a change. If I cycle a lot more students have been honored as a group,
then on the cycle II there are four groups that had won awards as a super team.
