DINI Oleh Prima Ramadhani1, Hamizi2, Neni Hermita3 Abstract Novel "Pertemuan Dua Hati" by Nh. Dini literature embodies a very touching, intelligent, and has a high intellectual in the world of education in Indonesia, which has the potential to expand the science of patience and compassion. Formulation of the problem in this study how disposition and style of language in the novel “Pertemuan Dua Hati" by Nh. Dini. The purpose of this study was to describe the disposition and style of language in the novel “Pertemuan Dua Hati". This research method is a method of non-interactive or literature that does not collect data from human sources. Dispositive on the novel "Pertemuan Dua Hati" is divided into two analytically (direct) and dramatically (indirectly). The main character in the novel "Pertemuan Dua Hati" by Nh. Dini detection is the Mrs. Suci and Waskito. Dispositive on the novel "Pertemuan Dua Hati" diverse because each character has some character. The diversity of the characters by each character make the story more interesting because the novel is not all the characters get equal portions of occurrence. They are the Mrs. Suci a teacher who has a sense of responsibility, Waskito a difficult student, husband hardworking Mrs. Suci, Suci kids a sense of holy fathers and mothers Waskito indifferent, grandmother Waskito patient and compassionate and Waskito grandfather were quiet and friendly. The language contained in the novel "Pertemuan Dua Hatis" is a figure of speech Hyperbole Nh.Dini work 18 sentences, Allegory 5 sentences, Antonomosia 2 sentences, 3 sentences Alusio, Antropomofisme 3 sentences, 3 sentences metonymy, synesthesia 6 sentences, four sentences Simile, Symbolic 3 sentences, Hipokorisme 3 sentences, Personification 3 sentences, and Totum Pro Parte 1 sentence. | en_US |
