Abstract
Palm oil mill with continue process is a new technology that more efficient than semi
continue process. There is a pretreatment for fresh fruit bunch (FFB) before entering
process and sterilizer is combining with stripper. The palm oil mill with continue process
have total capital investment about 907,5 billion Rupiah at production capacity 150.000
ton per year. Total production cost is about 712 billion Rupiah per year and after taxes
rate of return is 32%. Total capital investment is counted base on the equipment price,
and 36% of equipment price is the purchase of sterilizer-stripper and equipment for
pretreatment. The price of raw material is the most affected to total production cost, it is
about 82,7% of total production cost. For 100% production capacity, the total production
cost will equal to total income at increasing of raw material price about 82% and
decreasing of product price about 40%. Sensitivity analysis for this process shows that
plant capacity, the price of raw material and product are the major factor that can have
an effect to economic parameter for palm oil mill with continue process
