dc.description.abstractAbstract Film is a kind of mass communiation which is can reflect te reality of life by the stiry, especially for history movie. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the suitability and dissuitability of the realities of 1920s in West Sumatra on “Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah” movie and also to get the point of view from the spectators seeing the concept of the movie. The result of this research obtained: (1) the realitie o 1920s in west Sumatra on “Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah” movie are cover the setting, the vehicle, the attribute, clothes, lighting, mindset and peoples attitude. (2) Dissuitability of the realities of 1920s in West Sumatra on “Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah” movie are about the miss point in hoosing product as part from setting, the equalization clothes such using shawl for all village girl, then also the dissuitability of West Sumatra custom, at last the absence of talqin which is minus the vlue of this movie, (3) about the spectator’s point of view, it’s obtained many kinds of opinion base on the knowledge and the experience of movie and socio-cultural approach inside, both highlight the suitability or otherwise.en_US
