Abstract: This research is aimed to improving students learning outcomes in teaching and learning process at SMP N 1 Ujung Batu by implementing cooperative learning model of Student Team Achievement Division Type in mathematics lesson. This study is held as classroom research. It was conducted in two cycles. The activity and students learning outcomes data were gainet by collecting activity data by using observation sheet and daily test. The data which were collected was score which descriptive analyzed statistically. The result of study is in the first cycle found that the percentage of students who achieve KKM is 19,44% and the second cycle is 88,88%, an increase from before the measures the percentage is 69,44%. The conclusion of the study showed that the implementing of cooperative learning model for Student Team Achievement Division Type could improving students learning outcomes mathematic.
