Abstract
Gambling is an act which is contrary to the norms of religion, morals,
ethics and law, as well as endangering the livelihoods and the local economy,
while students literally come from the 2 pieces of the Supreme and students,
according to Indonesian dictionary Maha meaning a bound form, such as very,
large, while the student is a student. Simply put, we can interpret a student is a
great student.
The research was conducted in the District Tampan Pekanbaru. The
purpose of this study is to determine what the impact of gambling on the value of
academic, social, and economic student. This research was conducted using
qualitative methods, with in-depth interviews and observations. The study
subjects were 17 students of the 2009/2010 which consisted of 15 men and 2
female. Sampling technique using snowball sampling.
The conclusion that the impact of online gambling on the academic, social,
and economic student learning time is irregular, and the rest are received monthly
cash expenditures. Even though they know the consequences that will result from
playing gambling online, but still do it on the grounds spare time they have.
