dc.description.abstractThispaper describes about the phenomenon of lone wolf terrorism in USA which is becoming a new threat of security, not only national security but also human security.The purpose of this research is to identify the problems of lone wolf terrorism in USA and also to explain thepreventionsteps that is used by USA to solve this problems. Lone wolf terrorism is an old terrorism attack strategy which is appearing again with one person, his motive, and supported by advanced technology and globalization.The lone wolf terrorismalready becomesa heavy threat for USA. The attack of terrorist with this strategy have some difficulties to identify the threat and the attack which appear suddenly. USA as a country that is focus on solving international terrorism crime already take a reformationintelligence constitution policy by doing amendments about some constitutions. The existence ofUSA PATRIOT Actis also becoming a reason to reformate the constitution which is related with the prevention of lone wolf terrorism threat. USA patriot act is the acronym of “Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorist. It is a domestic defense fact to protect national security during Bush’s leadership, exactly on October,26th2001.The amendments of USA Patriot Act on 2005 related with Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004, successfullydescribed section 206 (roving wiretaps) dan section 215 (business record) to be permanent on 2011 as one of the steps to prevent USA towards lone wolf terrorism actor which can classified into foreign power and agent of foreign power and given to USA official citizen or non USA citizenen_US
